Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle written by Emily Nagoski, PhD, and Amelia Nagoski, DMA. (2019). It’s a game changer. These tools are ones you’ll want to embrace for yourself and teach your teen to use.

Divergent Mind: Thriving in a World that Wasn’t Designed for You written by Jenara Nerenberg. (2021). It’s a solid first introduction to neurodiverse thinkers.

James: A Novel written by Percival Everett. (2024). Beyond brilliant. I savored every page.

Lord of the Flies written by William Golding. (1954). I read this novel every year.

The Sleep Book written by Guy Meadows, PhD. (2014). A practical, therapeutic approach using acceptance and commitment.

Unmasking Autism: Discovering the New Faces of Neurodiversity written by Devon Price. (2022).

Women and Girls on the Autism Spectrum: Understanding Life Experiences from Early childhood to Old Age written by Sarah Hendrickx and Jess Hendrickx. Second Edition (2024). Filled with anecdotes and research evidence. I recognized some of my relatives whose behavior perplexed me.
